There's something wrong when middle-class families are working harder than ever, but the American Dream keeps getting further away. I think we can do better, much better. My parents taught me at an early age the value of working hard, being responsible with the little money we had, and helping others. I've used those values my whole life to fight back against establishment politics -- hold big corporations and government bureaucracies accountable to working families in our communities. In Congress, I'll break through the partisan gridlock to help middle-class families get ahead again.
